Layer It Up and Let it Snow

Hoy es un día muy especial por muchas razones. La primera mi pequeñito, Santiago, tiene su recital de piano por lo que damos Gracias a Dios. La segunda, es domingo, día de descanso y tiempo en familia, y la tercera, pero no menos importante, es día de Quirky Crafts, lo que significa que me corresponde ser Diseñadora Invitada para el Reto #23. Estoy muy agradecida y muy emocionada por ésta oportunidad que me da Quirky Crafts.

Today is a very special day for many reasons. The first one my little one, Santiago, has a piano recital for what we give thank God. The second one is Sunday, day of rest and quality family time, and the third, but not least important, is Quirky Crafts day,  which means I´m the guest designer for  Challenge # 23.

I am very grateful and very excited about this opportunity that gives me Quirky Crafts.

Los archivos deThe Cutting Cafe' son archivos tanto para imprimir como para cortar utilizando máquinas de corte electrónico, por lo que ofrecen una gran variedad de formas de mezclarlos y realizar hermosos proyectos.

The Cutting Cafe' files, are files for both, for print and for cutting, using electronic cutting machines, so they offer a great variety of ways to mix and make beautiful projects.

A continuación, quiero dejarles algunas ideas que les puedan servir de inspiración para participar en éste nuevo reto de Quirky Crafts. Las fotografías muestran el total y los detalle de cada tarjeta, para que puedas usarlos como guía.

Then, I want to leave you few ideas that can serve as inspiration  to engage in this new challenge of Quirky Crafts. Photographs show the total and the details of each cards that you can use them as a guide

Antes, hay un par de cosas que quiero compartirte:

1. Utiliza colores no tradicionales

2. Puedes usar cualquier tipo de embellishments

Before, there are a couple of things I want to share:

1. Use untraditional colors

2. You may use any kind of embellishments

#1. Warm winter wWishes

Utilicé capas para los calcetines y copos de nieve

I used layers for the socks and snowflakes

#2. Ready Set Snow

Utilicé capas para los copos de nieve, rotulo y copos de nieve, con pequeñas chispas en colores similares.

I used layers to snowflakes, label and snowflakes, with little sparks in colors that match those of the card 

#3. Snow Happy For You

En este caso imprimí y corte tanto con tijera como con mi Cameo, para luego hacer las capas.

In this case I printed and cut with scissors and with my Cameo, then I did the layers.

#4. Warm Bells

En este caso tanto las campanas como el rótulos y calcetines están en capas

In here both the bells, the label and socks are in layers. 

Usando ésta técnica, puedes hacer tarjetas, colillas, cajas. Lo único que necesitas es dejar volar tú imaginación.

Using this technique, you may make cards, tags, boxes. All you need is to let your imagination go.
